I bought Static Prevails today, and I dug it a lot. I'd recommend it. I also bought Bleed American but haven't had a chance to listen yet. I remember I used to love listening to The Middle on the radio when I was about 9 or 10.

Bleed American is wonderful. "A Praise Chorus" is my favorite song on it.

Bought this yesterday and I'm really liking it. The last 5 tracks are so excellent. I think I still prefer Static Prevails, It's kinda the emo I prefer (i.e. more punkish).

I don't really like the old singer's voice. The only song that it doesn't bore down too much is Episode IV, which is fantastic.
A Praise Chorus was my favorite, too, but that was when I was learning the drums, and I played along to it way too many times. Same with Chop Suey by SoaD. Can't stand either anymore. |

You can't stand Praise Chorus? That's one of the few songs on Bleed American that I can stand.

Maybe it's a little like Clockwork Orange. "I wanna fall in love tonight" evokes all the emotions of high school dating. |

Haha, yeah I understand that. Especially the Teen Spirit bit. I just can't listen to it anymore.
