You know, that would a correct observation if I weren't currently posting from this secret, underground cloning facility of mine.
But you're right, some people disagree with me so, therefore, I am wrong. |

Will someone be so kind as to help me fund this for a tattoo?

How do you know it's conspicuous? If they're showing it to everyone and talking about it all the time, sure, but even then that doesn't automatically make it less "sincere". How would it? |

Now, sure, a person can still have a truly meaningful tattoo that doesn't give in to the social credibility but even then I believe that passion is a thing of the spirit and not the skin. The tattoo is always an inferior rendition of the original sentiment. |

do you disagree with wearing clothing that is anything but functional also? I mean, anything which is aesthetic as much as, or more than functional? Jewelry? a t shirt with a band on it?

My wife has a few. I'm really glad I don't. It's more original not too these days (especially where I live). I have nothing against them, but I'm glad I never did it myself. |

I guess I just don't see it as any different from that. Sure, clothing and t shirts are 'removable' and 'temporary, but surely if someone feels comfortable enough to deal with having a decorative thing as a permanent addition to their own body, who cares?

Fuck. I am drunk. I misread this thread as 'Do you have a taco?" and I got way excited.

This is my most recent addition. I got it done to remind me of my mom. It is a classic sailor tattoo of a swallow. I was told that sailors would get these upon thier return home. I found this very appropriate. It's pretty too. The ultimate accessory. Sorry it's so tiny. I can't figure out how to get my pics any bigger.
