You'll need:
- Extra firm tofu
- Panko bread crumbs
- Hot red pepper jelly
- Sesame seed oil

What to do:
- Cut tofu into thin slices
- Marinate slices in red pepper jelly for minimum of 1/2 an hour
- Dip tofu in bread crumbs, make sure that they're totally covered
- Heat oil in frying pan, add breaded tofu, and fry until golden brown and crisp. Then TURN OVER.
- Remove from pan to paper towel to absorb some of the leftover oil, then transfer to serving plate
- Drizzle with more red pepper jelly.

Serve while warm.

that sounds delish. i want someone to make it for me. i can't stand to fry stuff in my house. the smell stays for days.

i don't think i've seen hot red pepper jelly. i have jalapeno jelly in the fridge though.

This looks so good. I really want it but I've never seen red pepper jelly!

try making a crab omelette

if instead of omelette you make a fritatta (similar, but thicker, like a spanish tortilla) you can put pretty much anything in it. i used to get one where they put sweet potato, peppers, etc, and it was yummy.

by the way another great way to eat eggs is you slow-fry some onions (yellow ones probably for this) until they are well caramelized then you break some eggs on top and lift them while the yolk is still good. yummy.

potato + onion + eggs are a great mix & i believe one of napoleon's favorite dishes

here's a good quick snack: olive sandwich. take a nice crusty bread, insert seedless black olives, and eat. maybe with a bit of mayo, maybe with a "sauce" (sorta) made of thin-cut red onion, chiles, and lime juice. no meat.

another meatless thing: while i recommend caution in the consumption of highly processed soy products, SOYRIZO is yummy-- it's like chorizo but made of tvp and you can use it with anything from eggs to beans to eating right out of the casing.

eh, gotta go make breakfast... more ideas later

Traditional method

About 1 gram of this solution can normally coagulate 2000 to 4000 grams of milk.

Modern method
Deep-frozen stomachs are milled and put into an enzyme-extracting solution. The crude rennet extract is then activated by adding acid; the enzymes in the stomach are produced in an inactive preform and are activated by the stomach acid. After neutralization of the acid, the rennet extract is filtered in several stages and concentrated until reaching the required potency: about 1:15000 (1 kg of rennet would have the ability to coagulate 15000 litres of milk).

most of my veg cooking has spices and herbs in it, so Im not sure I can help you. Are you allergic to spices and herbs or? Even if you are dead poor, basic ones are very cheap. Depending on where you live there are often several growing around near you too.. if yr stealthly with scissors.

spinach rice is super easy...

2 cloves of garlic, a quarter spanish onion chopped.. lightly fry off in a pot with some olive oil.. add long grain rice, swirl around, then enough vege stock to cook it through. stir every so often until cooked. At the last minute stir in some chopped frozen spinach and some parmesan(veg friendly if it suits ya). easy.


Asparagus chopped up into thirds, fry with olive oil, a splash of balsamic and soy, and some seseme seeds. Until it is JUST cooked and bright green.

^ I've been making lists of ALL the recipes given to me so that I can try them out throughout the new months.

I would share my own, but I'm truly an awful chef. And everything that I eat apparently has garlic undertones?
