clerks was ok, though i fell asleep the first time i watched it (probably the booze). it had some funny parts but blah blah etc. i'll check out II however but does the cinematography merit a big screen, or should i wait for the DVD? im thinking dvd...

jay and slient bob piss me off. but I'm still gonna give clerks a chance, cause it's not fair to judge it by Kevin Smith's other stuff...

I hate JASBSB. I like in-jokes in movies, but when the whole fucking movie is just "lol, remember this? we're so clever" it grates.

Man, this movie is a THOUASAND times better than Jay and Silenent Bob Strike Back. That movie kind of sucked. Clerks II is easily one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. I was honestly a little worried about the film, being a big-budget sequel of a great indie film from a decade ago, but it's even funnier than the original. Non-stop laughs throughout the entire movie.

I give the film 5 stars. Pure comedy genius.

Please don't tell me that you liked Jersey Girl. That was one of the worst movies ever made. Ben Affleck needs to die for his crimes against cinema.

Silent Bob plays a song from a certain movie, and Jay reenacts a scene from it.
If you must know (spoiler, highlight to read) Jay does the Buffalo Bill "Do you wanna fuck me, I wanna fuck me" scene from Silence of the Lambs, it goes to another scene, then when you see him again, he is standing there naked with his genatalia tucked back. |

Smith hasn't done anything decent since Mall Rats.

It was pretty good...that dance scene to the Jaxxsun 5 was so incredibly pointless...I was kind of appalled by it like in Magnolia when everyone starts singing along to that Aimee Mann song...stoopid.
I was hoping for more cameos from people in the original one...a catatonic Caitlin Bree or some shit. |
