k-krack, jams & jellies do go in the refrigerator. It's been a long time since I've eaten peanut butter or jelly on anything. schizophrenicroom, I've experienced the same thing before myself. You must have some drunken roommates who have no food in the house so they went hog wild on your peanut butter. |

no mention of George Washington Carver yet hehe
Jams & jellies will keep okay in the pantry, but storing them there increases the likelihood of ants or other bugs getting into your cabinets to get at that sweet sugar as a result. Most of the labels for jams & jellies specify refrigeration after opening. when Homer & Marge have the kids taken away from them by Social Services & they are attending the mandatory classes to get them back, the instructor says: Goodman: There are a lot of little tricks to it, things you should have learned a long time ago. Such as, if you leave milk out, it can go sour. Put it in the refrigerator, or, failing that, a cool wet sack. ... And put your garbage in a garbage can, people. I can't stress that enough. Don't just throw it out the window. [3F01] Home Sweet Home- Diddily- Dum- Doodily |

Peanut Butter is amazing. Chunky plain. Regular on something like pancakes.

i once had a math teacher that had a drawer full of peanutbutter jars. whenever she'd get frustrated or was depressed, she's whip open the draw and get started on a new jar.
it was repulsive... |

I've had to throw many a jar of peanut butter away because of my filthy, filty ass friends grubbing it up with their fingers and crackers.....I'm not really a big fan of it anymore though.

Two things that should never be refrigerated: maple syrup and peanut butter. I don't care how healthy it is. They're complete crap when cold. |

I'd never had Butterworth's until recently. It actually is way better. We don't buy it though. Stater Bros. all the way.
