I never got the huge fuss over Heroes. I mean, it is really good, but I've seen it praised as much (or even more than) Low by quite a few people. I don't know. I always found the ambient half kinda sterile compared to Low and The Secret Life of Arabia is one of the most awkward closers ever. Bowie usually always closes his albums out well, but that one is just a head-scratcher to me.
I always liked Lodger a lot better than Heroes. I'm surprised it doesn't seem to be as well-liked as the first two of the Berlin Trilogy. This probably should go in "unpopular opinions" but whatever. |
