choc-E-choc negative repped this post......guess they didn’t agree with the working title?
I promise Side A wasn’t going to be Billy Joel and Side B Elton John! Sad thing is, the transgender artists I’m referring to, they advised via their social media to destroy everything with their old (male) name and to purchase/play new releases under their new identity. Thing is, they had no plans to re-record their older music. No way I’m smashing my cassettes / cdrs just because. As one fan said, it’s not like you are a better musician just because you now wear makeup and dress feminine......oh the confusion!!! Quote:

Yeah, that working title was really kind of offensive - also, it's generally considered impolite to try and divide someone into their pre- and post-transition identities, given there's usually plenty of closet time.
I don't want a mixtape, don't waste your time.

I was in Huntsville at 1am two Friday nights ago barreling North toward Dallas listening to Dylan Houser and noticed it was mastered by Inner Deamons Sausageification. It was just a play on words and I meant NO disrespect. |

this cracked me up. I was already imagining you using a real life shark (a hammerhead would be most suitable I guess) then googled and found out it's actually a brand. Now I'm disappointed update: I live in Philipstown, you will be exterminated if you dare to use any non-Philips product over here

i briefly had a dyson ball something something. bulky, loud, overkill. gave it away to a neighbor with 4 kids. turns out a microfiber mop works better on hard floors. no joke. |

Son of a gun. I probably could’ve tried this first. But I honestly thought it wouldn’t be enough. For being a medium haired dog...he sheds a lot still. Got that German Shepherd in him. Dat cat too. Not sure if she’s a gray tabby or Russian blue or maybe a bit of both....but yeah. She sheds like a mofo too. |

i think dyson makes a “pet” model for the hair. plus with animals you need to vacuum furniture, etc. so yeah you need something that won’t just do floors, and won’t clog. we’re just 2 adults with a couple of houseplants so different story. back in the cat days we used a shop vac. that stuff will suck in clumps of litter like they’re feathers. for apartment, the small ridgid shop vac does 5.5hp i think, worth checking out, can be outfitted with bags and/or a hepa filter, and does wet vac with the right accessories. mira: https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-4...4070/202077241 eta: it’s 5hp. still a beast. i had the 14 gallon version hahaha. r2d2. behold: |

Why would making a mixtape with former identity on Side A and new identity on Side B be considered —dividing— that individuals identity? If fans of their must music enjoy their abilities and musicianship......how is that impolite? |

Well - for a lot of trans people, their identity is something they've been aware of for years, but haven't come out yet. So on records where they have their deadname listed, there's a very good chance that that's not them.
Also, it's extremely rude to knowingly use someone's deadname for them. I don't feel like we're going to reach a middleground...

It will be difficult for you to reach a middle ground with anyone showing interest if you are not willing to carry on a discussion and answer a few questions.
The trans I was referring to, they were touring and releasing cdrs/tapes under their birth identity right up until the transformation. An announcement was made by the artist / label and the he next release was under the new identity. I hope you take this as an honest question. Do you know of any musical artist who have stopped performing/releasing new material because it’s not truly “them” and will only do so once they have transitioned? If so, I would have more respect for that individual. Quote:

Sony WH-XB900N, very bass heavy, long battery life. They're pretty damn good so far, hopefully they last.

i got so e bluetooth marshalls on sale for like $75 last year. small, too tight, but i kept them somehow (probably a mistake) i used to have sony mdr7506’s, great monitor headphones and supercomfortable. unfortunately they got destroyed somewhere... should probably get new ones. but these days of disappearing audio jacks i am not sure though haha, |

if compressed air tools last longer than battery tools, why aren’t you making compressed air cars instead of lithium-eating ones? fill-up could be as quick as swapping a cartridge. tank integrity could be easily monitored by chip. eh? just asking... |

I've just learned that there are more English speakers in the Netherlands than there are in Canada. My mind is blown.
