I'm actually tempted to watch more Leo movies now...but the good ones are so fucking long and epic that I'll never make it through them. So...the last half of Bubble Boy until I decide

Oh damn, I don't own that one but that'd be perfect. I'm bouncing between Aviator, Gangs of New York, Blood Diamond. High Fidelity would be good too, but I'm not in the mood for it.

oh, go for gangs of new york.
this guy in the hollywood video in provo back in july, when i said i love there will be blood, yelled that "daniel day-lewis is the best actor of our generation, next to philip seymour hoffman!" and more or less invited me over to see his daniel day-lewis and philip seymour hoffman collection. it's a shame he was fug, or else i would have proposed to him. gangs of new york is amazing.

Haha, fug.
I'd put Gangs on and gladly fall asleep except that it's on two damn DVDs, so it'd just be the first half looped. I still think I'll go with it. Daniel-Day Lewis scares me sometimes. Have you seen My Left Foot?

Ewww total Ghost World vibe
My Left Foot is amazing. DDL performance is so real it's almost too sad to watch.

ghost world! i always have wished thora birch would be in more things.
my brother in utah is in a play where he's a schizophrenic, and his friend playing an autistic kid apparently was given examples of sean's behavior as acting tips. i wish i had a video. it's supposed to be an amazing play.

Wow. That's really neat.
DDL broke 2 or 3 ribs during filming from being hunched over and made the crew carry him around the set.

a part of me really wishes i had gotten more into acting. i'm in awe people like that who can throw themselves into a craft that hard. most music like in concert and symphonic bands you just can't, and it's so boring.

I have a lot of trouble just throwing myself into things. I'm a firm believer that we all play roles every day, but traditional acting and method acting just keeps me in awe.
Starting Gangs shortly.

Quantum of Solace.
I liked it, tons of action but it lacked the finesse of a proper Bond movie.
