Haha, I figured someone would find that name funny (I do too). Hell yeah, gin is great, because it's quite versatile. It goes with a lot of things. |

been experimenting with waters with the coffee and teas
turns out soft water is great for sencha, brings out the bright flavors. distilled, too much acidity with a bland follow. dasani, just right. nestlé pure life is actually hard water and ruins it. my tap water, filtered, is very hard water, but i prefer that to distilled. same thing applies to yorkshire gold tea. hard water makes is so fucking tannic. dasani gets it right. but with coffee! coffee is different. my dark espresso roast tastes sour as fuck with soft water. but with hard water—nice and smoky and great! (for my taste anyway) that is great cuz i’d hate to buy bottled water for coffee. ps roasted kukicha also tastes good with hard water. with soft water not bad either, but the woodsy scent extracted with hard water is more interesting. |

I know that one, although it doesn't taste so well to me. I prefer this one a lot more:

Fentimans is pretty damn awesome and way different taste-wise. Hard to even compare the two. Fritz is more of a regular Cola with a certain stronger, citrusy edge to it (which I like), whilst Fentimans is entirely its own beast. Really love the Cherry-Cola of theirs as well. Unfortunately, it's even pricier than Fritz. So, something I'll only indulge in every once in a blue moon. |

wow, had to dig deep for this thread
im drinking a leftover cooler, made with some of what was left in my fridge: 6oz vodka, 4oz dry vermouth, 4 oz tart cherry juice, the juice of a lemon, an indeterminate amount of simple syrup in a jar (1tbsp maybe?), dash of peychaud’s bitters, shaken with ice, strained over 2 very tall glasses (22oz), the toped with lime flavored seltzer. pretty great with a side of popcorn |

I'm developing a Pepsi Max addiction; it usually becomes my motivation near the end of a work shift. I work at a supermarket, I'm expending energy, and it's cheap...get off my case.

I used to think water was boring and only drank soda/juice. And of course i started getting kidney stones...
Now I love water! I'm finally kicking my soda habit by replacing it with a habit to Arizona jGreen Tea with Ginseng and Honey. Less sugar and caffeine and I prefer them to soda now. I used to crave the carbonation, but after a few weeks without it, I don't at all like the bloated feeling it gives.
