yes i was dissapointed with children of men too. michael cane as a hippy made me laugh and i dont think he was supposed to.

ditto on children of men...i liked it i guess, but it wasnt what i hoped...

just saw The Ice Storm and Hurly Burly...Ice Storm pretty good, HB not so much...pretentious and just annoying mostly...I know what it was going for, but I just dont think it worked...Anna Paquin was surprisingly the best...Sean Penn was ok....Garry Shandling/Kevin Spacey were ok....I really didnt like meg ryan too much, and Chazz Palminteri was awful....What a miscast.

anywho, I dropped those off and picked up:

I thought it was boring as shit. It went on and on but really didn't go a whole lot of places. It could have had much more in it. A lot of the subtitles were fucking hard to read too because they right up against some bright ass sand.

I just watched A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints. It was pretty good, I liked it.

Shia LaBeouf suprised me. At first he was the guy in Even Stevens (a disney show for those of you that don't know). To some guy in Holes. To that douche who is going to be in Transformers. But he was pretty good in this movie, and I liked him, hopefully Transformers won't ruin my liking for him.

Transformers looks pretty great...its got a great trailer at least....it even sounds great....i love the little bass drop right before those meteor-like things hit....
