I'm the same nicfit that from time o time was on the old board, i could hardly define myself a friend of yours, but i always liked your posts/attitude/mood .

Ehmmm...Hey I'm new here but I follow SY since '98, I'm twenty, I'm from colombia, I like alternative rock and punk from the 80's and 90's...sonic youth, smashing pumpkins, pixies, garbage, radiohead, black flag, janes addiction, and also trip hop...portishead, ok sy.

Is that Colombia, South America you're from? I hope so, it's good to have a few people here who aren't European or North American.

Yes, Colombia Southamerica, and thanks, Here are a lot of people (in bogotá) who still loves sonic youth since the 80's, because the early punk culture is huge here, but the language (and the few sites) avoid to enter in forums like this one. ok thanks.

Intros all around, Myanmar here. SY fan since 2002, at age 16, now age 20. Murray Street for first purchase, a record that quite grew on me. Everything else followed. (Daydream around the same time as VU & Nico.) Seen SY live only once, in St. Louis in August of 2006. Main musical interests run primarily to Mission of Burma when outside the sphere of SY, as well as other post-punk types. Most recent "perfect" album- Captain Beefheart, 'Trout Mask Replica'.
