Don't understand the Dempsey criticism at all. Bradley and Zusi were the only weak links in USA so far. Belgium are in total control of the midfield but fucking hell, Howard needs to be on mt rushmore after this.

Bradley is only the weak link if anybody honestly expected him to be an offensive strength.. meanwhile he had three takeaways including one that was totally wasted by Clint Dempsey running too slow to get it..

You guys can shit on Michael Bradley all you want but it comes down to simple reality that Clint Dempsey is the one supposed to be scoring the goals. Again,
this was a golden year for Clint to prove he was better than Landon, and if you ask me he totally shit the bed. Again, we ranked 31 out 32 offensively..

congrats to belgium who today for the first time i've seen play as a team.

one-to-one they have the greater talent and the more technical players, and that's something one could see in the small interactions of the game. without howard, who was a TOWER, we'd likely have been spanked.

great also our comeback after julian green came in. had we played that way the first 90 minutes we could have won.

tough luck against us with that fabian johnson injury, we lost a sub, but de andre was superb going up i thought.

fuck! great game, in the end. i have a stiff neck from all the tension. worth waiting 4 years every time.
