oh i remember more stories now

once i was riding my little scooter down the sidewalk (we lived at the top of a hill) and i hit a big bump, went flying over the handlebar and slid 20 feet on the concrete (it wasn't even smooth concrete, i still have a scar on my elbow).

I ran my bike into a gravel bank after riding down a hill for about 1/4 mile. Couple of cuts to the forehead, I must have been springy as a child.

Near Traf Square there's a nice "straight" pub called the Harp, a cool gay pub called Halfway To Heaven, and a really nice Thai restaurant (whose name I forget offhand). You can often find Melly in this part of the world
