Great work everyone!

So I am only a few days away before the launch of my first exhibition. I am shitting my self but excited at the same time. I have no idea what to expect, it feels like I am about to put my personal journal on public display.

I will have a friend take pictures of the day so I can share the moment with you guys.

An old friend who is a composer did a successful Kickstarter campaign to fund the first release of an album of just his music (he has been recorded many times by various ensembles and orchestras, but never had a solo record), and one of the "prizes" was to have the thing on vinyl with original artwork by three different artists. I did ten covers. Here are some covers and the backs

Hey folks! Super work in here!

So the exhibition went well, it was a pretty decent turn out and all the bands that played were rad. I will put up some pics of it when my friend sends them to me. I managed to sell one painting on the night that was priced at $650 and just yesterday I sold another! woo

and back to an unfinished meat painting - with oils now on top previous work with acrylics.

going to my aunt now for lunch. she wants me to do a small painting of her diseased dog. she ll pay she said and i feel weird
taking money from her, even though i have already given her one as a gift. i want money at least for getting stuff i want for painting. damn. fuck money. for needing them.
