It's a shame about that album. No record with such a great cover picture and title deserves to be as ordinary as it is.

I was fooled by the rep. I should have read more reviews. AMG is very lukewarm, for instance. If I'd read that first, I wouldn't have bought it. And it wasn't all that cheap, something like 19 bucks.

The 60s Garage Punk/Psych scene threw up a lot of 'classic' bands that only ever really produced one decent song. I can't think of more than two or three really good albums that came out of it despite it being probably my favourite genre. It's why the Nuggets and Pebbles comps still sell so well I suppose. Definitely a singles rather than albums based genre.

Exception might be the Sonics. I have a couple of their albums that are solid.
