i first thought i was going nuts (which i often do think) but when Susan woke up and asked me what it was, I started to get really worried. next time it comes, i'll have a dictaphone device ready.

It happened again this night, at 5am and it lasted for 30 minutes or so, then it "went" away the same way as last time. it was actually so loud that both me and girlfriend woke up to the sound.
we were actually both shit scared. i couldn't get any sleep after the sound ceased. (please don't consider this post as bump or some kind of attention whoring. it really happened and i'm starting to dislike my room a whole lot)

slavo did you move outside of your bedroom, did you try to trace that sound?
I could understand if you didnt feel like moving out. be sure if you decide to do so, to take anything for recording with you. soundwise and visual-wise!! |

God, it happened again this night. I thought with moving out and buying a new apartment the sounds would stop, but they just keep returning. This night it kind of changed though ... the drones were changing pitch so they were kind of like slow sirens or something. The sound wasn't sinister - it was nearly caressing, however I was scared to death when they were circling around the room as they always do.

Fascinating stuff, Slavo. I don't think something like this has ever happened to me. Not that I can remember anyway.
Maybe you should keep a recorder at your bed stand so you can record it next time it occurs... maybe it's less scary to listen back during daylight. Or if you upload it here I can unleash my mad EVP-deciphering skillz on that biatch. |

i've first encountered this stuff when I was in Baltimore, MD in 2002. only with one difference ... that sound there also moved across the room but when it approached the area of my bed where I laid, my heat started to hurt badly and I felt unwell. while these drones that have been following me home (in the previous apartment and now in the new one as well) are different. there's nothing evil about them I guess. They just come, resonate in the room (pretty loud, if you ask me) and then after some 20 minutes they just leave. That doesn't prevent me from being scared shitless, though. If I were alone at home, I'd shit my pants for sure. I better get some recording device and have it ready - too bad they're that expensive.

something similar has happened to me... i woke up in the middle of the night.. probably 2 or 3 a.m., about 3 years ago, i actually heard something screaming every 3 seconds.. but i couldnt even tell what it was. i left my room and walked around my house but i couldnt hear it anywhere else. it was only my room. and there was this strange sound that went along with the scream. like.. the sound of a cell phone vibrating on a table.. it was that sound with a scream. i probably sound insane but i kept looking out my window and didnt see anything but the sound continued to get closer. i ended up just sitting there frozen and i couldnt sleep. eventually it went away, i never heard it again...
