It's definitely not as good as Live Through This, but it's better then America's Sweetheart haha I do like some of the songs on Celebrity Skin, others, not so much.

Probably anything during my hip hop and nu metal years.
Crazy town, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Linkin park, and then there's the awful no limit records cds I have. Also some blink 182 stuff. Basically anything that was cool when I was 15. |

i like that song ebolarama and that's about it, the rest is like generic antioch arrow wannabe shit. i found two more: *the used - in love and death; i like the first one (you got a problem with that?!) and got this, but it's retarded(-er?) shit *lamb of god - as the palaces burn down; again, i like new american gospel, and then i got this one and it's generic nu-thrash wannabe crap. i also have kid rock's album, but that one i didn't buy, someone had it, said they wanted to get rid of it and told him i'll take it, for some reason i still haven't figured it out. i've never played it. also, a bunch of demos and cds by crappy local bands. |

Yeah nothing wrong with Temple of the Dog. Audioslave on other hand is pretty bad, unless you like super boring music that sounds like every other band out there.
Ha I have that Live album too, Throwing Copper. I obviously got it right when it came out but in a way I don't regret it, cause lots of the crap I bought in the early 90's I sort of keep as a reference in time. Like every now and then I'll pop it in, I won't really enjoy it, but it's a reference in time. Reminds me of a certain time etc |

Everytime I die, I'm embarassed i even know that name. I'd probably kill myself if I ever bought any of their music.
Heh Korn too, I remember when they hit it big but I never got into them. I did used to have the fucking System of a Down album. I should kick my own ass for that |

Most if not all of my Beatles and Stones albums, and most of my Dylan. But hey, that's what you bought back in the day, pre-punk.
Ditto what someone said re Arcade Fire. Except I still own mine, for whatever reason. I think I've learned that it's worth hanging on to even the cheesiest stuff. You never know when you might get curious about something, and want to dig it out to play it, even if you still hate it. Joshua Tree (but it was a Christmas present) XTC - Skylarking (Booorrrinnng. But it was the alternative rock 80s, what could I do?) New Pornographers - Twin Cinema (I fell for the end-of-the-year critic's list hype. What a yawn.) The Volebeats (from my alt country phase) |

I have one of theirs on octagon shaped picture disc. I seem to remember it's quite good. Their new band is utterly shite though, from what I heard on a Resonance session. I can't think of any records other than ones by local bands that I can't stand. Actually, some of the more obscure reaches of late 90's Digital Hardcore output is pretty dire. I maintain that Lolita Storm's record was the second best DHR album though.

Here's what I can remember-unless marked otherwise, I got rid of it
Orgy-Vapor Transmission Powerman 5000-Tonight, The Stars Revolt! Andrew W.K.-I Get Wet Offspring-Conspiracy Of One (I can't sell this one becuz the case is broken) *shudders* Blink-182-The Mark, Tom, and Travis Show Drowning Pool-Sinner Therapy?-Troublegum (has a few OK tracks so I decided to keep it, but I don't really listen to it anymore) Static X-Wisconson Death Trip System Of A Down-self-titled I actually kinda regret having gotten rid of those last two...there was once a time where I would have kicked my own ass for liking stuff like that, but whenever I hear a song from those two records, I can't help but feel a little nostalgic...maybe it was just perspective, but it seemed like SOAD were better then, before they came up with crap like "It's such a lonely day/And on this lonely day/I feel so lonely/The lonliest, lonliest day of my life... |

I like SoaD up through Steal This Album. After that they got kinda boring. I haven't listened to them since shortly after that, though. I heard that "everyone's going to the party" song at a pool hall and thought, "Who the hell is this?" Then I recognized Serj's voice and just hung my head.
I also think Powerman is pretty underrated. I have a real copy of the oh-so-elusive Anyone For Doomsday and it's good. So is whatever album Car Crash is on. Talent-wise there isn't a whole lot there, but it's very standable as far as simple listening goes. |
