according to the GBV book Bob has a huge suitcase filled entirely with cassettes of unreleased material some of which goes back to the early 80s and this is where all the stuff on the suitcase boxsets comes from |

GBV have 5 boxsets now, are there any bands who have done more?
Over the weekend I might upload the first Acid Ranch LP (if I can find my mp3s of it) |

REPUTATION ! I'm so happy to see someone say that. This is one of their best records and I consider it to be the most underrated album EVER !

Nah. That's Self-Inflicted Aerial Nostalgia.
Good record though, An Earful O' Wax is my favorite from it. |

Well, EVERY GBV release has some good stuff on it, some records are just better than others.
It's amazing just how much he writes yet still how consistent he is. ~Jeremy~

Gotta disagree there, Jeremy. It's amazing how much he writes. That's for sure. But he's not consistent. I mean he was in the golden-era of Matador albums. But really, the seven million albums are more about being fun to collect than they are about being consistently good from start to finish.

Actually with further thought I take my post back and agree more with you. Some his records, while not bad, are records I'll listen to maybe a couple more times. Combine with the fact that I don't really like the later GBV records as much outside of some stuff here in there..... .... Eitherway the guy still writes tons. That at the least still makes me go coo-coo for cocoa puffs. ~Jeremy~
