A lot of Jew's at the time of Christ didn't believe he was the messiah because they believe the messiah would lead them in victory over the Romans. Although, Christianity took over as Rome's religion, so metaphorically, Jesus sort of did.

I say we challenge him. If he can kill Osama within 13 days from within a led coffin, the Jews will consider.

Otherwise, obviously Cyril Takayama will become the first Japanese messiah.
