i hate them all too; but ron paul is harder to hate than the others. i can't hate anyone that appeared on the morton downey jr. show and told a fat guy to lose some weight because said guy supported drug prohibition.

Yes, this election will be close as fuck like always....hopefully more and more young people will come out and vote for Obama.
Either way, nobody could possibly be bad as W. who has more holes in his brain from drug and alcohol abuse than I do.

the symbolism kills me...
Barack Obama’s campaign has banned all signs and posters from his upcoming Berlin Rally in Germany, an event expected to be attended by millions and watched by millions more around the world. Though billed as a security precaution, the decision to prohibit signs will prevent a repeat of an infamous occurrence at an Austin, Texas rally last year when several 9/11 truth signs were prominently visible during Obama’s speech. |

There's no way McCain will win. In my opinion, this election has been over since Obama hopped on. It might have been naive back then, but I've been saying it the whole time.

After reading some post here I now understand why a fucking idiot like GW Bush is US president and US is the greatest fuck in the world, because you people just don't care for what's going inside of US, less for all the world.

I was very surprised to see that Obama has visited Iraq and Iran. Have US presidential candidates visited a warzone before? It seemed to me like something a president does, not a prospective one.

1. You don't know me, and you couldn't say you properly knew anyone by simply reading their posts on a Sonic Youth forum, so don't tell me none in my country care about her or the rest of the world. 2. George Bush has a terrible, terrible approval rating here. 3. Don't call my country a fuck. By all means tell me my country is being mismanaged and hurting the world. Tell me my country has been making ridiculous mistakes for the past fifty years. And if you have some suggestions for the good of this nation or how she could benefit the rest of the world, by all means share them, but vomiting out that arrogance doesn't do a damn thing except piss people off. 4. The Constitution of the United States is the single greatest achievement in Government and the citizens of this country, cynical as they are, have a lot to be proud of.

He's a senator and was supposedly doing it in that capacity. Of course he's doing it to show he can look presidential for campaign purposes, but McCain had just done so a month or so ago, so it's not like he really had a choice. It seemed McCain was testing him to see if he'd really have the balls to go, which seems to have really backfired. You can go on and on about somebody's inexperience, and some of it might be true, but if that person looks good on the news next to other world leaders, that's what people will remember. Obama has pretty massive charisma, probably the most of any candidate since the Kennedys were running, definitely at least since Reagan. |

I don't find him charismatic at all. He looks unhealthy to me. He's stealth neocon. |

Political charisma has nothing to do with whether or not you individually like or agree with somebody. It has everything to do with their ability to win over large numbers of people. I hated Reagan, and saw right through him, but so many otherwise seemingly sane people totally bought that he was a nice old man who wasn't out to hurt anybody. |

We get such a skewered version of things in the UK. You'd think Obama was a shoe in reading the British press. If McCain does win I imagine the sense of disbelief throughout Europe will be tremendous.
