jazzmaster but not because it's the weapon of choice of sy.
mainly because the shape is badass and it has humbuckers. i wouldn't mind having one of each, though |

i voted jazzmaster because its my favourite fender guitar but i already have one so i doubt id get another,
if i was to get another fender guitar id probs go for a cyclone or a telecaster, but who knows, any other than a start would be just fine for me, |

yeah, I'm pretty sure they're single coils.
I voted Jag because that's what I have and it sounds AMAZING |

I've got two strats, a Jazzmaster and a telecaster (as far as fenders go).
I think I'd like a Jaguar, though. Or a mustang. Or a Nice (custom) tele. - John

I already have a Jazzmaster so I'd want a Telecaster.

I always thought those Jag-stangs were quite beastly looking. I was very disappointed with how they came out. YUck.
I have a 65 'Stang a 65 Jazzmaster and a mid 90's Jap Jag that is currently fucked and I'm considering doing a massive overhaul to get it to play/sound good. Ain't got the funds to do it though. I've had 3 strats quickly pass through my possesion, 2 Mexican models and an American standard that I had for less than a week. The Mexican strats are very decent guitars; my uncle, who has played for probably 40 years now prefers them to American ones. No Tele, Bass VI, Electric XII, Jag Baritone options on the poll? HAHa Just nitpicking. I have been considering selling my old Tele Custom and getting a newer highway 1 tele with a blonde finish. The Tele custom would be an awesome guitar if it would stay in tune, but I never play it because of that. I've taken it to a couple of guitar specialists who can not figure out why it goes out of tune so quickly. I was told when I bought the Tele that it had belonged to both Robbie Robertson and Bob Dylan, and was consigned by Dylan's nephew when I got it. I have no proof whatsoever of this, but that's what they told me... |

I've wanted jazzmaster way before I loved SY... this is when I first realized jazzmaster was the coolest guitar ever,
but yeah, mustang's cost half as much and are nearly as cool.

Being an owner of a Mustang and a Jazzmaster, for playablity I'd always pick the Jazzmaster. The Mustang is pretty comfortable, but the Jazzmaster just feels more solid.

I've never had the chance to play either the Jazzmaster, or the Jaguar. But from what I can gather from this is I should get one of each.

Lovely Mustang.
Mine is olympic white w/ the baise pearl pickguard. All original pieces, Vibrato (pat. no. 3 241 418), switches, pick-ups, & nobs. The ony thing not original on my '66 Mustang are the tuners.

Nope, no digital camera. I've been wanting to post it ever since I signed-up for this board. Trust me, I'll find a way to show a pic of my 'stang.
