Nothing, but I look forward to when I've got a car and I can drive down the road, so I won't get all these characters coming up to me. |

But, I was walking down the road the other day, this chap walked up to me and said 'Do you want to buy some grass, mate?' I said 'No thanks, mate, I've got crazy paving. Haven't got a garden, you see.' |

He sounds like a charlatan to me. It probably wasn't even very good quality grass. I bet it would have turned brown in the sun, and died.
I get mine from When The Going Gets Turf. |

I don't understand why anyone would want to bother hating a band. If someone doesn't enjoy something, why bother wasting emotions on it? It's not like it's going to acheive anything. It's not like you're going to convert someone who loves the band or has no opinion either way, is it?

Quite right. Still I think I'll forever hate Oasis To stick to the topic I'm not a fan of Fugazi's vocals, however I love the guitars and drums. |

Oasis are an easy target for hate. Their first two albums are good ol' brit pop though.

Since when are emotions based on choice or achievement? I simply listened to fugazi and it instilled in me an emotion of hopelessness with music. I love music, and I hate what damages my love. That seems perfectly reasonable to me. Perhaps we don't see eye to eye in our definitions of hate?

But is there any use in prolonging that hate further than the initial "I hate this band" reaction/emotion? If you choose to continue persuing any thought of a band you apparently hate, then to me, that's you wasting your time. If I don't like a band or artist or whatever, I don't want anything further to do with them. I don't start threads and rant about how much I hate them and therefore giving them anymore thought then I think they deserve. But then maybe we stroke differently.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I brought it up because I wanted to hear some opinions about why they are a good band, because a lot of people think they are. I really wanted to hear a unch of fugazi fans tell me what I am missing, so I could listen for it and see if I can dig it. Haven't you ever heard a band you didn't like, and then hear them differently later on in a more positive light and enjoy them?
Some of you are presumptuous. You think I'm just posting to bitch? piss off. I don't hate them that much.
