Unless I'm attempting to make sense of why it's so important to others. I value them but in different ways I think. I view most as being disposable. Once they cease to feel good or offer something stimulating whats the point?

I'm not sure what you mean. I've been listening to Sonic Youth non-stop since I was a young lad. It doesn't matter if they don't exist anymore, they are my favourite band regardless.
