I don't get Trompe le Monde, it is easily their worst one.

Trompe has been called Black's first solo LP. I guess he and the rest of the band were not getting along during the recording. Must be why there's not Kim vocals.

There are at least a handful of tracks with Kim vocals. Joey and David are excellent on it as well.
