If Jones hadn't left, I think he would go the way of Syd Barrett, Arthur Lee, and Roky Erickson, and been an eccentric songwriting genius.

Well, if he hadn't died, Psychic TV wouldn't have made their great pop tune "Godstar," which I think would be a shame. My best friend disagrees, but I think it's a great tune.
I prefer Jones-era Stones if pushed, but the Stones aren't a big obsession with me in any case. |
