That's a pretty good little comedy for the most part, though the characters are so unlikeable that I don't watch it very often. The scene with the little kids "YOU SMELL LIKE AN ASSHOLE!" "I HATE FUCKING RABBITS!" is one of the best scenes in any movie, ever, though.. and the soundtrack rules. |

I've been watching this. It's the complete series of his Canadian television show, before MTV had him on their channel. A lot of the best skits were reused for MTV and he got away with a lot more on the Canadian channel. Anyway, totally brilliant. Tom Green is a genius. Highly reccomended. You know they boned her. |

What just happened?
huge disappointment. From the italian trailer looked like a funny movie, except for a couple performances it's really bad, kinda "the Weatherman gone wrong".

What an awesome movie! I got it for my daughter, but I think I liked it more than she did Someone mentioned Keira Knightley, and it reminded me of this great movie. I'll have to watch it again soon...

Attempt at clarification: Aranofsky's stuff falls more on the side side of banal, soap-opera-ish melodrama. Pretty conventional, predictable, laughable, and boring. As opposed to say the (melo)drama in a Herzog flick, which is much more surprising, thoughtful, and....................see...its harder to put a description on this sort of, for lack of a better word, higher melodrama. I tried.

Yerah, I've decided I like it ... it just took a couple of days to sink in. I live in Vermont, for god's sake ... I actually KNOW people like that. You're right. The soundtrack does kick ass. |

I'd reccomend Giuseppe Andrews's films to you. They're a lot funnier, trashier, have more bizarre characters, but they're still in sort of a Gummo vein. Actually, giuseppe was only going to make one film but Harmony Korine saw it and told him to keep making films so he did. I have 22 films by that dude now.

I just made a new scissor shock video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEWCohtkP3I I pooped it out in a few minutes using some old drawings and pictures and shit. It's the first time I've ever really worked on video editing. So... time to make a feature length film! |

I'm going to start working on a cartoon soon actually. It's called "graveyard man of the graveyard" (until i can think of a better title). It's going to be a super shitty, MS Painted animation with drone and surf music.
