Very unusual. I wonder what the bookmakers' odds were for the USA to reach the final after losing its first two games. Did anyone become a millionaire tonight?

I've never seen any English person being supportive of American (or Australian) national football teams. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I reckon it has something to do with "taking over our game" and/or the term "soccer"?

That's so true. I think they're second only to Holland in being the most underachieving team in world football. I'm as amazed as anyone that they actually won the last Euros.
