but I, as a fan of both series, enjoyed them. So then wouldn't that mean that they had a point? To amuse me?

"What happened to him?" "He was shot in the eyes." "Oh, he's blind?" "No, he's dead." "Oh yeah, cause they go right through..." Haha, I love it, Woody Allen in Broadway Danny Rose, though it sounds like it would be a line from an old Steve Martin movie.

It's got a really awesome soundtrack. Really droney. I think this came out in 1983... the director spent 5 years on it. His only film. Here you go: http://www.ubu.com/film/bokanowski_angel.html It's pretty hard to find. I got it on dvd but it's a bootleg of course. |

untitled star wars mockumentary - 8/10
http://www.archive.org/details/The_U...s_Mockumentary absolutely brilliant. Damon Packard is probably one of the best directors alive today. |

Ran. It was the first Kurosawa film I've seen and holy shit! If any of this dudes other films are as good as or better than this, then he might be the supreme master of film. Which I guess people who know better have already acknowledged. I'm just pumped to find another awesome director whose whole oeuvre I've yet to go through. Fuck yeah!
And I saw Ugetsu before that. Better than Citizen Kane. And I watched Gummo before that. Loved the scene in the kitchen.

anybody seen the new flick featuring van damme?
I recently saw a poster of this and there were good quotes from more or less good german movie magazines printed on it. and van damme looks like he got cancer...kinda like a real actor. I thinking bout renting it, but I am afraid of loosing my ass-virginity while doing...so yes, anybody seen it so far? |
