So the lone Finals sans DunKoBron is Heat Mavs Part One???
So we should probably put DWade on this list and call it DunKoBronAde

Last night, the Denver Nuggets become the first team this season to beat both the Golden State Warriors & the San Antonio Spurs!
Rockets have lost at least once to all West teams except Minnesota (2-0) & LA Lakers (3-0). They have a game remaining vs each. Then finish vs Sacramento (2-1) Golden State & Chicago are the ONLY two NBA teams to reach 70 wins. The Warriors (70-9) are 9-0 this season in games following a loss. How strong is the West......Golden State didn't secure home-court until their 70th win. The Warriors are three wins away from 73 +/- leaders since 93-94......Draymond increases his lead. Curry passes Michael Jordan for #2 overall......Klay passes 800. Curry Milestone Watch 5 points under 30 points per game (needs 95 in 3 games) 15 3-pointers from 400 10 field goals made over 50% 17 free-throw attempts over 90% 14 +/- from 1000 |

Elephant in the room. WARRIORS ARE 15-1 AGAINST SUNS KINGS AND LAKERS. If each of those teams had won just one more game against Dubs then they'd be at 67 right now.
Maybe warriors are historically good team or maybe they're just in a division that is having a historically bad season???

Thanks for sharing, I had not seen this! Dropping 35 in his very last Sunday afternoon ABC game is how you turn back the clock......it was Kobe's 5th 30+ point game this season. Speaking of televised games......this Wednesday: Jazz @ Lakers (Kobe's Final Game) has been moved to ESPN 2 Memphis @ Golden State will now air on ESPN as Dubs go for win number 73 (ESPN having Mark Jackson announcing Wednesday's game is like being the best man at your friends wedding when he's about to marry your ex) Last night in San Antonio, Stephen Curry & Klay Thompson outscored Tony Parker & Danny Green 51-6, matching largest point differential for a starting backcourt in 2015-16. Curry with his second 37-point game of the year vs. the Spurs......NO ONE else has scored more than 33 against the Spurs this season: Golden State is the FIRST team in NBA HISTORY to go an entire season and NOT lose consecutive games! This is probably a good time to remember that Steve Kerr passed on Phil Jackson to tie Phil's win record......then ruined the perfect home season of the coach who won his 1st ring with him = Kerr is a King Slayer! Scottie Pippen showing some love: "Giving credit where credit is due. Congrats to Steve Kerr and his Warriors on win no. 72. They earned it tonight!" "Stephen Curry showed why he's the MVP. As cold blooded shooter as I've ever seen and a basketball IQ that is off the charts." Warriors offensive-rebound percentage this season Overall: 23.5% In clutch: 32.8% Down 3 or less or tied in final minute: 62.5% Looking ahead to Warriors final game this Wednesday: ESPN's Basketball Power Index (BPI) projects Warriors have 91% chance to beat Grizzlies, set NBA record with 73 wins Steph Curry needs 8 3-pointers to reach 400. Steph has hit 8 in a game 25 times in his career, 15 of them happened this season! Steph scoring 41 points will give him 30 points per game average for the season. A few notes: - 72 wins: ties single-season NBA record (95-96 Bulls) - 34 road wins: new NBA record - 63 games over .500: most in NBA history |

Seth Curry has his first career double-double tonight, in his 47th career game. His brother Steph has 101 double-doubles in 494 career games.
By winning tonight in Minnesota, the Rockets control their post-season fate. Beat Sacramento in Houston Wednesday night and the Rickets are in. Even if the Rockets lose, Utah losing at LA Lakers also gets the Rockets in due to them having the tiebreaker over the Jazz. Current "locked" Playoff Positions 1. Cleveland 2. Toronto 1. Golden State 2. San Antonio 3. Oklahoma City 4. Los Angeles Clippers. |

If spurs beat thunder they can beat warriors but its a big if considering spurs history against okc. If spurs make finals cavs can beat them because Cavs do all the OKC things that always hurt Spurs. That is an even bigger if. Otherwise Dubs win the whole damned thing.

Goodbye Kobe
Kobe played his first NBA game six days before the first Tyson-Holyfield fight. Derick Fisher assisted on the most Kobe baskets (576)......all 5 Championships were with Coach Phil Jackson. Isaiah Thomas could become 3rd in team history to average 22 points & 6 assists per game (Larry Bird & John Havlicek) Oracle Pre-game: |

Kobe broke Iverson's record for missed shots in a game......there is something SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Kobe to this! I'm guessing most NBA starters could score 60 on any night if given 50 shot opportunities! When you wish you had a farewell tour like Kobe..... I wonder if anyone realizes that Tim Duncan's emotional farewell will be him no longer showing up to work one day? Speaking of keeping it low key, Elton Brand played in his final game last night. |

The past ten days for Jordan......
Villanova defeats North Carolina in the NCAA Championship Game (I was there) Kobe scores 60 in his sendoff while only playing for one franchise. The Golden State Warriors win 73 Games. Scottie Pippen: "Knowing what it takes to win 72 games, I've got to tip my hat to the Golden State Warriors for getting to 73. Good luck to Steve Kerr & Company in the playoffs! |

"Who Are The Golden State Warriors"
The game was over at halftime, which made it easier to flip over to ESPN 2 Kobe: "what Warriors did with 73 wins was ridiculous." Steph was honoring Kobe's retirement with his shot selection off the bounce last night. Even Curry's nine misses were entertaining......the most fun since Greg Ostertag. Danny Ainge - first to make 100 3-pointers in a season. John Starks - first to make 200 3-pointers in a season. Steph Curry - first to make 300 & 400 3-pointers......in the same season. Scottie Pippen made 150 3-pointers the year Chicago won 72 games. Stephen Curry finished the year with a 66.9 true shooting percentage and a 32.0 usage rate......Unbelievable! Curry is now a member of the 50-45-90 club! Curry Nash Kerr While everyone was so focused on Curry's 400 threes, Steph also tied Gilbert Arenas record for most points in less than 30 minutes with 46. Once again, Curry didn't play in the 4th Quarter. PLEASE read the following twice Steph Curry now has 1206 points from 3-pointers this year. For comparison, that's more than Kobe scored TOTAL in 5 of his 20 seasons. ^^^^keep reading until in sinks in! CLASSIC Draymond Green: "Our championship was luck last year. We lucked our way into 73 wins this year." Your 2016 NBA playoffs Game 1 schedule: NBA Finals start June 2......49 Days Away |

Over the past two season, there has only been THREE OF US actively posting in this thread......how am I / we hyping anything? For any actual conversation, I posted the following on March 1st. No one attempted to compare shattering the 3-pointers made record by 116 to Home-runs or any of the other big numbers in sports: stolen basses, hits in a season, TD's thrown, rushing TD's or rushing yards in a season......is anything comparable? Quote:
At his best, Ray Allen was never this good...... Harden this season: 2338 PTS 608 ASTS 497 RBDS 139 STLS 51 Blocks Curry this season: 2329 PTS 521 ASTS 426 RBDS 167 STLS 15 blocks However, someone had a season that sort of flew under the radar: I wonder if The Dubs will even play the tape of James Harden saying saying the Warriors “aren’t even that good” again? Daryl Morey's job is safe and sound This is the ONLY first round Western Conference series where a teams BPI isn't favored by 90% |

Sports media is hyping warriors to point of market saturation. I bet on march 1 i replied to your point. I think warriors shooting endless volume 3s is very much comparable to say a pass happy NFL team that is totally imbalanced and throws the ball twice as much as they run it..

4 first half points......ZERO free-throw attempts:
The Rockets & Mavericks lost by a combined 64 points today. Toronto & Boston lost by a combined 11 points. OKC is 14-6 in best-of-7 series when taking 1-0 lead. |
