It's a shame that the sequel (which I had never seen before) turned out to be such a fucking mess. I was planning on gradually watching the series in it's entirety...but the quality of Hellbound has scared me away from the franchise.

I think Kevin Smith made 2 really brilliant films, then chasing amy had its moments, and everything else has been from mediocre to complete SHIT. I never saw Clerks 2, but Zack and Miri was mediocre at best... Meh.

Mallrats and Chasing Amy are probably my favorites. Clerks 2 was actually good. I liked Zak & Miri. I even thought that Jersey Girl was pretty good.

Dogma and Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back are total crap.

like what you like. But this is what I was saying before. There seem to be 2 specific KS camps. The Mallrats/Chasing Amy crowd vs. the Dogma/Jay&Bob crowd. Both crowds seem to like clerks.

Strike Back is the worst of the original 5. All it's real purpose was was to give J&SB some primary screen time and make jokes based on the previous 4 movies.
