I would either like to live in a very rural area (I prefer living near the trees and animals than the crowdedness of the city). But, also, I would like to live in Australia or New Zealand, the wildlife there is very fascinating.

Bored of it already? Doesn't seem like that long ago that you went. I'd definitely like to spend more time in Berlin....an extended period of time. And Poland, that would be pretty neat. Or anywhere that's fairly cold. |

it gets very, very cold in berlin. painful to be outside actually but i kind of like it when its like that. you get to sit in cafes all day and drink warm alchoholic drinks.

i can travel with my job, so i'll limit my list to places i can go, because wherever i go i want to be able to support myself and live like i'm used to living:
Sydney Tokyo The Netherlands And I lived in London, but only for six months, and I'd live there again in a heartbeat but my husband hates that weather. But after living in NYC, any of those places would be short term because I definitely want to call New York home for the rest of my life. I'm actually planning on trying to work another year abroad, but not til september of '07. |

last time i was in berlin, the cold nearly killed me. i stayed in a squat called koepi and there wasnt much heating going on, or warm water. it was a very miserable time. if i hadnt been to berlin before it would have made me not want to go back.
prague winter is ridiculously cold too. |

For me in a realistic sense, someday I want to live in San Fran.... I love that city! California is a beautiful state and I love nature so....and I love the coast especially the Pacific Coast. If I had the money I'd retire in Hawaii.
Now if we started a thread about places we'd like to travel to, then my list would grow dramatically!! I would love to visit Japan, Argentina, Chile, Brasil, Canada, Mexico, Australia New Zealand, Eastern and Western Europe, Africa......I guess everywhere!

I've been taking a look at apartments in Mill Valley, California.
My first memories are from living in California, so after all these years, I don't think I can live anywhere out of state. |

Seattle, but not sure how unbearable the sogginess would be
somewhere in Georgia. most likely Savannah, maybe Athens or Atlanta Long Beach, CA Pittsburgh. PA Montreal southern France, near the Mediterranean DC and Baltimore seem nice to hang out in, But i can't see myself living around there, i like lower Montgomery co much more like Bethesda. Chevy Chase, or Silver Spring the beach is nice but most of the area is not set up for year round living (IE Ocean City, MD, Fenwick Is., DE, inland Delaware) but Rehobeth Beach, DE is set up for year round |

No, no plans on living, or even visiting, France at the moment. Not that I have anything against it. Whereabouts are you living in Berlin if I may ask? |

new york city- it's a big city, and plain and simple, it is nyc.
san francisco- it's perfect san jose- again, perfect ashton-under-lyne- a lot of my family lives there, and it's a cute little town.

I'd like to move to a city somewhere, for a year or two-Chicago most likely-then move either into the woods somewhere, anywhere, as far from people as possible.
