Man, basses are tough beasts, are they not? My Precision bass copy has been dropped/hit etc by me, and nary a scratch on it?...You've got a "Jagaur" bass, is that correct? And once again, kudos to John Simon Ritchie for whacking that redneck retard over the bonce with his bass on the Pistols' US tour.

Irrelevant question - have you had the chance to play the Jaguar baritone guitar? I'd love to own one of those babies.
Gibson Thuderbird basses look the business. I always like the pics of Kim G rocking out with one. You and the Julester both have basses? Hey, you can both be Awesome Rock Win and boot out Rob I from "his" band!

yeah i have actually played a baritone jag, once, at guitar center
it was nice but i hate guitar center & yeah he's had it for as long as i can remember. he never plays the fucking thing though. he likes to do art stuff more than music.

Guitar places in Denmark Street are staffed by the biggest wankers in existence, so I get what you say about Guitar Center. What sort of art is Julian into doing (photos/films/painting etc)?

he wants to make short films (which is something i also have interest in)
actually we've made some, he has an 8mm camera and i'd put them up here but i don't know how and he likes to paint and he's a really good photographer (which is fun because i prefer to be in front of the camera more than behind it)

Sounds like one talented geezer, Cantankers.....did you show him the Kuchar Brothers films I sent you the links to? I get the hunch he'd be well into them. I bet he must've taken some great photos on your European tour.

D'oh! Still, Polaroid pix of Manchesterland and London are always good. (I recently found a Polaroid of a 20 year old me, with a guitar at my first "proper" job. Still like it a lot).
