I smoked these for a decade. The funny part is I swear my sister introduced me to them because she only smoked true taste cigarettes she imported from Canada and when she couldn't get them she smoked Winstons. I told her this years later and she swears its not true and that she never smoked Winstons, and while I was like 14 at the time I'm totally sure that she just forgot all this. Regardless Winstons were the only true-taste smokes in LA until American Spirit came around and so I smoked them almost religiously for many years. My advice though is that you have to be careful where you buy them, because of the lack of preservatives they get stale even sealed so if you buy them from a store that doesn't really sell them they'll be old and stale and nothing is worse than stale tobacco, even Winstons

Good stuff, but that is because it has artificial chocolate flavor added I learned.

Mmmm... I was totally into the hydro weed back when I was partaking.I had some great times with friends and that fact that it didn't last too long was a good thing when I had to take a train or walk or whatever and make it home with a relatively clear head...

But I ran into some major issues when I started smoking the stuff at home, by myself, more and more often.

That's (obviously) the danger sign, so y'know - don't fuck y'selves up. That's all.....

I agree, folks just don't understand the herbs. People drink coffee by themselves and its no thing, people toke it by themselves suddenly their addicts. An addict is not someone who does something a lot, but rather someone who does something out of their control to the point of self-destruction. If people are maintaining their jobs, taking care of their families, getting their school/university work done on pace, paying their bills while smoking what is the harm? If they are failing those things, then we can talk about addiction.

Far be it for me to be so prejudiced and single out the sacred weed, when obviously too much of any so-called 'drug' may cause problems..

I'm only offering one example (my own) of this. I went overboard and it affected my day-to-day life. Happens to a lot of folks. In my case, smoking alone (excessively) made it worse because I isolated myself from the world. That's not the case for everybody - I was perfectly okay puffing away all by my lonesome for a long time, but then....

I'm not anti-weed. I smoked it 'cause I liked it. The conversations I had, the music I listened to, the art I came up with - all while stoned, are all cherished experiences. It beats the hell out of alcohol and any 'hard' drug (not that I've ever done 'hard' drugs unless you count ecstasy).

I may decide to have a smoke again someday. But not at this stage...

The only point I wanted to make was do whatever you wanna do, but just be aware of where yr at. I ain't doing a Nancy Reagan or anything....

Hey, no need to make it personal yo, I mentioned exactly what you said, folks not stepping up to the plate in their real life. However, there a lot of people who can smoke weed and yet maintain good jobs, raise families, and have a healthy social life. Does this mean weed is for everybody? Hardly. I know several people who shouldn't smoke, and by your own self-reflection maybe you aren't one of them. But I know a dozen other people doing just fine, meanwhile there are plenty of alcoholics, pill poppers, and dope fiends doing terrible on a daily basis
