I totally agree, I say somewhere in between is good. One of the worrying things I find about people at this point in time is that they don't really know what a healthy weight is.

In terms of guys and girls I think someone looks attractive when they look healthy, not too skinny. I don't like guys that look like a rake or girls, irrespective of if the girls have large breasts, in fact big breasts on rakey girls somehow make them look even more freaky to me.

People throw around the word "healthy" a lot, even though it doesn't really mean anything to them. How can anyone really know if another individual is healthy or not? By looking at them? I doubt it. And does being unhealthy automatically make a person unattractive? I would say no to that as well. Whenever I go to the doctor, it always seems like I have yet another problem that needs to be taken care of or dealt with or whatever, but no one would know unless I told them. "Healthy" is just another buzzword. For some reason now, it's only brought up in relation to weight.

healthy is a buzzword. if you have a tan, people will tell you you look healthy, but as we all know tanning is extremely bad for you.

I would rather be the size I am (which is small, I've had people asking me my whole life if I have an eating disorder) than to be curvy or anything. There are many, many really beautiful heavy girls and curvy girls, but personally my ideal body type is pretty skinny.
I get pretty fucking sick of hearing about how skinny girls are nasty, because some people are just naturally like that. Just because a girl isn't naturally skinny, doesn't make it right to ridicule them. I don't think enough people in the world really understand eating disorders. I don't think enough people in the world understand mental illness in general.
If I'm too skinny for your taste, keep it to yourself and don't tell me to go eat something. It pisses me off because that's not something you should even say to a person with an eating disorder if you truly care about them. Not that I have an eating disorder, obviously. But yeah, some people need to read a little a learn some things.

Anyways, pro-anorexia is triggering for people with eating disorders, and people who aren't happy with they way they look. People go to these sites looking for a disorder, not realizing what a serious illness an eating disorder really is. Not that it makes it healthy or right or anything, but serious eating disorder boards don't allow people looking for disorders to join or see what they're even writing about. They're still an awful form of support group though, although an actual eating disordered person probably wouldn't try to convince someone to not go get treatment.

I always been a skinny guy, never have I been more than 130. Is just that the media emphasize way too much on being skinny. It is natural for a girl to be that skinny and being "healthy." However, it is bad when these girls who grow up with images of the media don't feel up to par with it. I am not blaming girls I am blaming society for getting this way. Also people who starve themselves, or throw-up everything up after eating just really destroys their body.

I think so too. I don't get it at all though, because people tell me that I'm too skinny all the time. They assume I have a baby carrot, cut it into three sections, and eat a piece for every meal each day. I eat like a pig, if my metabolism wasn't so high I'd be really big haha. It's all luck really, all in the genes.

meh don't worry about what people say, some people will just say that to everyone, like when I'm in Australia noone makes any comments about my weight but when I go to Croatia or Serbia I always get comments that I'm too skinny I guess cause they say that to anyone that's kinda thin in a normal way

I don't really go in the sun just cause my sis got a chronic illness which exposure to the sun was apparently party at fault for so I have been paranoid about the sun for a long time now, so yeah I can't remember if I was ever actually tanned
