Hopefully Fugazifan got the joke. I know they don't make them. The punchline was "buy". I think the Butthole Surfers donate all the extra proceeds from marking theirs up 300% to the "Help Ian Mackaye make the rent and maintain his cred" fund though. |

I own 7, one for each day of the week. Christmas is great because I always get a new one to replace whichever of the seven has the most wear from being washed.

yeah, i hink ian mackaye is pretty well off.
fugazi alone sold more than 2 million albums. and with almost no expenses of a regular label, he is mostly making money than spending it. and yeah, the this is not a fugazi shirt is not official. some guy made fugazi shirts at the beggining of thwe 90s and mackaye asked hm to stop, so he started the This is not a fugazi T-shirt funny guy

I don't have one.
As my face is very "16 year old indie kid" I feel the need to own heavy or bad ass bands shirts to look more manly. Examples: Void Electric Wizard Venom Dr. Dre High On Fire Black Flag Wolf Eyes Rolling Stones

Ian McKaye is as well off as any lower middle classs american. selling records for $10 and doing shows for $5 does not make one rich. dischord does not amke one rich either.

gibby haynes is barely making ends meet.
8 years ago gibby and al jourgensen were living together smiking crack and shit. al's attorneys and family had set him up with a debit card that had $200 a day deposited in it, for him to use for his food and drugs. crack pathetic, and I love me som gibby haynes. he was busted by al breaking into al's apartment at 4 in the AM and scrounging for any left over crack. NO LIE

Do you have any articles, mugshots, or anything to prove this? This is kinda f'd up to write about someone. Al just did the soundtrack to one of our new movies, "Wicked Lake" and I know he's a good guy who's totally together and professional. He's about to go on tour too.
