Just so people now know...Sidney Rice made Brett Favre last year. This
season that fuckface hick is being exposed for the washed-up, rampaging shit-sack he truly deeply madly is.

Yes, Favre. Tis he who has been exposed. His time has come and the clock
is broken. Without Sidney Rice to throw to, he is but a shell of the superstar hick he once was.

Peterson is basically their entire offense right now--so other teams will
be all over him, every play. Mind you, he should have gotten a TD on that big 4th down play at the goal line. The Dolphins defense is nowhere near that good. It's that the Vikes have no other viable option in the running game. Or the passing game. Or the game, period. GRR.

good knock knock joke there Rob. Please Jenn you can hate Farve all you want but to give Rice all the credit for last year is just blind hatred. Farve had a great year last year except for one lousy pass in OT. He looks like he doesn't want to play this year, if the Vikings had let him retire I believe he would have. He's still one of my all time favorite players going back to his days at Mississippi State but unfortunately it's beginning to look like he hung on one year to many. Miami stuff ADP because his blockers were out to lunch. Looks like Miami vs. Jets is the game to watch this week. I'd love to watch Dallas/Houston unfortunately the Patriots vs. the Bills is on at the same time. Thanks to the fact that I get the Patriots stuffed down my throat every week I drafted Wes Welker in the first/second round as I drafted last in my league a 12 teamer league. I really got luck that Matt Forte is off to a great start as 5 people went autopick and the RB got sucked up like no tomorrow. I was hoping to get Foster or Best in the 3rd or 4th but they never made it back to me. Thanks to auto picking some folks ended up with 3 RB in their first 4 picks.
Great play by TP thanks for the youtube pointer.

No, I'm not giving Rice ALL the credit--I don't dislike Favre THAT much.
Would have actually liked him for the first time ever without that INT of Doom, though...

Brett favre has never ever been a real locker-room leader. he leads by example, and the last two years the example has been "I am better than the team. I am worth more than the team. I do not need to practice or come to training camp or even be up front with my management and team ownership."
Favre is one of the best to play QB, but he is also one of the most frustrating "great" players ever. and the season is still early yet. however, last year all the pieces fell into place and Favre had the benefit of the WR's and peterson and a quality O-line. most anyone could have and would have a "career" year playing with those cats. something about him does not strike me as right. he is a multi millionair hick. he claims to still be country but from what I have read, he does not have many friends in Mississippi where he lives. I think he alienated a lot of people throughout his life. then he alienated several million Packer faithful by actively seeking employment with the goddamn ENEMY. while I am no packer fan nor a Viking fan, I respect rivalry, and I respect athletes who stick by the teams that got them where they are. busienss is business, but Favre going to vikings was all about payback, not business. Texans/Packers Super Bowl, in Big D!

Houston was befuzzled the entire game.
Vikings won! AP with 2 scores, including an 80 yard beauty.

the cowboys "had to" win and the Texans sucked it hard. they played with little of the aggressiveness evident in their first 2 weeks.

Cowboys had to win and the Texans weren't ready for the intensity the Cowboys were bring. A great team, a team that has been there before would have been. I like the Texans but the more I see of them the more I'm convinced that they aren't ready to take the next step. As much as I laid into Kubiak last week, it isn't all his fault he hasn't been there either.
They need to hire a guy like Parcells who's been there before. Unfortunately I got to watch the Pats/Bills then my 4:00 choices Eagles/Jags or Colts/Broncos woopie what a suck market I live in. Oh well at least the Man City vs. Chelsea was an exciting game this weekend. BTW St Louis laid one on Washington taking some of the luster off the great comeback last week. Hopefully tonight's game lives up to the hype.

The first score was 101 yards, the second 99.
Nice to see Seattle off to a good start. Course that division is trash...
