there was Teenage Riot in SPb, 'cross the Breeze was planned, but wasn't played (my two most favourite SY songs ever)

damnit, why does everybody else get Expressway..? I'm travelling to Scotland to see them twice, I hope they at least play something from EVOL one of the times... It would be kind of a letdown to have seen them play 5 times, and no tracks from my favourite album. (Not to suggest that it won't be totally awesome either way!)

Too bad I wasn't there yet... I'm moving to Petersburg for nine months at the end of August. And Sonic Youth sold out in Chicago, so my chances are caput. But, I have seen them twice, so for every Russian that got to see them for the first time, congratulations. You probably went home and threw something at a wall in excitement, hoping the sound quality was comparable to the amazing aural stimulation you had just been subjected to.
