yup - it's my little soapbox.
...and if the local guy is a jerk, then I don't buy from him either. It'd be nice if these big stores were passing on some of their profits to their employees...but they don't. Convenience is...well...convenient...and I'd be lying if I said I'd never buy from a chain. I just like to push for keeping my money in my town and not give it to some faceless exploitative entity. Don't take my rants personally - I'm lashing out at the attitude and not the individual.
