ive done shrooms 8 times, acid 3 times, 8 out of those 11 times i had bad trips. i have no tolerance for peer pressure, id eveyone is doing said drug ill feel left out and immediatley drop out, with out much thought. i think the reason for this might be, the first time i did shrooms i was 15 and with my two buddies at one of said buddie's house, while his parents were at a casino named foxwoods (some of you have probably heard of it). we smoked two blunts to mellow out, then dropped an 8th each. it started out great. we watched pink floyd-live at pompeii and the fellowship of the ring. i then went upstairs to stare at myself in the mirror. this is when his parents showed up unexpectedly. and lets get this straight, his parents are not mellow when it comes to drugs. his dad is a full blood sicillian contractor, tough as nails, and very intimidating. they said i looked like a, "deer in headlights" while saying hello to me. mr. iadonisi, my friend's father, got right up in my face and said, "are you on fucking drugs or something", and i FREAKED. then my friend had to face his parents, started balling his eyes out, and admitted everything. his psychedelic days were over then and there. my other friend, steve, meanwhile was lying on the floor in a full on seizure in nothing but underwear sweating his fucking brains out, mumbling something about his grandmother (who had been deceased for sometime). the parents finally let us go, and told us to sleep (yeah right, fucking sleep, good one). my friends were obviously incoherrent and turned the lights off. so here we are, triping our balls for the first time after a miserable experience in a tiny pitch black basement room, claustrophobic, where the only source of light were three brokebn alarm clocks. the flashing alarm blocks for some reason terrified me, three different times flashing through my body totally destroying my sense of time and shattering my ego. the next three hours were pure terror, internal and external, praying i wasnt a schizophrenic. when i realized i wasnt it was the greatest sense of relief ive ever felt. i have never been able to enjoy psychedelics since that night. and im a nervous person to begin with, nervousness and psychedelic drugs is a horrible combination .
