Back up by Joe Lally on bass, George Hurley on Drums, Thelonius Monk on Piano.. that's probably good enough.. But, I'll add Robert Fripp on guitar
EDIT- Fripp and Monk is probably too intense.. One or the other would be cool.

I think the Magic Band is my dream band -- probably the best bassist, guitarists, drummer, and vocalist ever.

But, for fun, I'll try to make a non-Magic Band (or Beefheart) list here...
