I've never cried to any music but I do get emotional listening to lots of euphoric dance music such as that, 808 State (if it's the one with the saxophone in), Go, You're Not Alone, etc (I don't have a clue who the artists are). Otherwise it would have to be My Bloody Valentine: Something, Slowdive: Avalyn 2, Bardo Pond: Tommy Gun Angel, and another vote for Mind Games. |

I'm listening to Blue Skied an' Clear right now, it's beautiful!
I'd also like to mention Crazy For You and Dagger. Oh yeah Adam, have you heard the Slowdive demos? They rule. |

Love and Anger by Kate Bush just came around on random play. I haven't heard it in months and man, I'm still bawling my eyes out. Her voice, David Gilmour's guitar, beautiful. If only someone told her not to say 'yeah' like that.

very rarely will a song itself actually make me cry.
there are only two that come to mind. paper bag by fiona apple. its a mix of the lyrics and just the sound of her voice. michelle by the beatles. not so much the lyrics, it's just the instrumentals. they're beautiful and sooo damn sad.

Haha man if you like that stuff you'll LOVE their early stuff... brilliant band. Animal Lover.. it's worth reading the book that comes with the album if you have an actual copy. One of the few bands I really care about the packaging for and such. |
