The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is on tv, but its got to the point where I've seen it so often on tv, I can't bear to watch it anymore.

9/10 i took off a point because of the ending. SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!******************* i just thought that killing the guy ruined the wonderful static exsistence that was built during the movie. i mean it seemed like a cop out that after a three hour tedious (yes wonderful) movie she had to insert a surprise ending instead of letting it be tedious until the end.

That's how I felt too, fugazifan. I felt like it was a copout, or a punchline, like the film needed this kind of conclusion to be marketable, to have a "point", to render the first 3 hours as a big setup to such a ridiculous ending. I think they could have done without the stabbing. The bored sex scene alone was probably enough of a conclusion...

10/10 loved it. sad stuff toooo Cabinet of Dr. Caligari 10/10 I could see how people in 1919 would have thought themselves insane watching this freak out. 6/10 did not like the pacing on it, and I got bored halfway through but there are some crazy shits up in it Moon 9/10 I really loved this. Reminds me thatthere are still ways to make hard sci-fi movies. This and primer give me hope for the hard sci-fi genre in film

I saw it yesterday and loved it. I was unaware it was set up as a 'sequel' and I really liked that take on the story. Yeah, it kind of lurches from scene to scene but I think that kind of fits with the story. And yes, the visuals were incredible. As good if not better than Avatar. Certainly not less fantastic.

Honestly, what one are you talking about? I guess it's the Tim Burton one but there's a reinterpretation by Jan Svankmajer simply called Alice.

The bold, self-aggrandising statement at the top of the poster for Santa Sangre makes me laugh.

Santa Sangre's pretty cool. It has its moments. Reminded me a lot of a Zulawski film, really. Wonder why it's never been officially issued here on DVD.
