Double Decker Bus - or something like that that already seemed out of time, with that song going "get on board, get on board of the double decker..."
Chapi Chapo - that was French, it had a beautiful song, with a bridge that would fuel adults with melancholy about lost childhood. Plus Chapi Chapo was the nickname of one of my best friends, who'll never read these lines since, even though he claims not to, I suspect him to rather listen to his Iron Maiden once in a while than give the Youth one more try I named a bear of mine Paddington from that show even though mine looked like a German gingerbread man (er, not a real bear, of course, all we ever had were cats) Felix the Cat for the shrill voice and the shaking belly laughter And my beloved Waldo Kitty |

The first show I was into as a kid was Care Bears.
Ironically, I always wanted the bad guys to win (even if it was a repeat) I also have fond memories of the early Simpsons, Bobby's world, Rugrats, AAAAHH!! Real Monsters!, Animaniacs, and old Bugs Bunny cartoons....and the Flinstones, Yogi Bear, pretty much anything off Hanna Barbera |
