Pretty much. Although when there's book adaptations to movies, it's usually the movies that remain better. If you read the Star Wars books, they're really bad. But really, JK Rowling really knows her literature well. She uses plenty of allusions to Greek Mythology and also creating a book that starts off as magic-realism and throughout the books becomes magic-surrealism is an interesting concept

True, but that's always the case. What comes first should stay the first and only in most cases.
