Sounds like maybe your mom is slowly beginning to internally accept the fact that you prefer a 'Big Queen' to a little princess... That's good! Hopefully she won't be one of those mom's that responds to every situation like that with condescending comments though.

You know Alex, since you have come out, you are really OUT. I mean, your confidence and entire demeanor has changed. You seem much more at peace with yourself, I am happy for you.

I know. It feels great. I've told most of my close friends now too. But since I can't tell everyone individually, I'll probably end up writing a blog about it or something. Since I've gotten good reactions from all my friends that I've told, it has become a lot easier to just not care what others think because I know I still have a lot of good friends.
