To be honest, he really didn't grab my attention like most stand-up comedians I like. I just think there are alot better stand-up performers out there.

Wow, nobody has mentioned Bill Cosby. Anyone ever seen "Bill Cosby...Himself"? Classic concert film. You don't have to say the "7 dirty words you can't say on television and radio" in order to be funny.

Also while techinally not stand-up comedians, these two are brilliant at what they do:

I'll be kind in correcting you sir, but I did mention Bill in my first list that I made for this thread. I grew up w/ Bill's comedy. I always remember listening to his LP's w/ my father & laughing @ such a unique type of humour. But, I grew up w/ a weird comedic upbringing. I grew up, along w/ Bill, Cheech & Chong (@ a vrey young age) George Carlin, etc. Just outreagous comedians that a little 6 year old kid shouldn't be listening to.

I'm going to guess this is not the first time this list has been made, it being in alphabetically order and all... but that's just a hunch...

Brian Posehn is really good. Doesn't have a whole lot of stand-up stuff to go by, though.

When did Mitch Hedberg die? How did he die? He was a pretty good comic from the few television appearances I've seen him on. I guess since he was mostly a stand-up comic and didn't get a chance to do tv or films or not much at any rate, he never became a household name.
