steve was awesome, he did alot for enviromental education in schools around australia, bought tracts of land to never be touch so new habitats could evolve for wild life. he was a really down to earth guy and educated alot of people about wild life. he didn't just run and jump on crocs etc for no reason. when the ray barbed him he pulled the thing out of his heart himself.

I'm sure he was a good guy. He was an entertainer. He put his life on the line - cops do it. But he just did it for entertainment. May have done some great stuff, but the risk wasn't necessary. However, the point is, whether he had it coming, or was stupid and deserved it - his kids didn't. He didn't just lose an arm - he died. "Well...but he was whacko."

There have only been three recorded deaths in Australia from sting ray attacks. Unlucky bastard.

The last time there was an attack was 50 years ago so he must've pissed it off big time.

when i heard the news on the radio this morning however i was happy i have a relatively safe job. of course i could get irradiated by a computer & die. however, thrill seekers ultimately get what they want, no? i'm afraid it's true... |

"your" is possessive for the 2nd person... wouldn't it be "your twat" then? or are you referring to his "a" twat as opposed to his "b" twat? i wonder about these things some times... |

mistreating animals is so cool, right? let me see you get forced to spend time with someone you don't like in front of cameras against your will, and have that someone touch you and handle you even if you don't like it.
better yet, whould you like your father to expose you to a wild animal when you were a baby? and no, i don't have a twat, but i gave you credit as i understood you were insulting me. |

when did i say that mistreating animals was cool?, when?, yes he might have been working with animals at the time that he died, but he still did not "deserve to die". He taught millions of people about animals, its not like he was a hunter, or made his proffesion from killing animals. He looked after animals in the Zoo's he worked in. Whether you agree that Zoo's are a good or bad thing is another thing. and if your going to pick on me for my grammar i will point out that the word 'would' does not have an 'H' in it. |

at least get informed, he handled animals improperly, he got in their way; it's not like people, animals don't have a choice or a way to talk themselves out of situations they don't want to be a part of, people like this steve irwin mistreat animals in the name of "education" or "animal protection" when they don't respect animals and thei habitats, the way he died proves it (animal felt threatened by some retarded, weak human and defended itself, it was killed or be killed for the animal).
one thing is the way national geographic and discovery channel were (are?) were they film animals in their habitats and without their intervention, which is the way it should be because not only do we see how animals really are but show respect for them as fellow living creatures, and another very different is people who whore themselves thru handling animals for their stupid human purposes (like sigfried and roy who also got what they deserved). |
