Limp Bizkit, Korn, The Offspring. Yes, I was 14 once. I guess I must of needed them at the time, or something. I actually listened to more impressive music when I was younger than that age. I guess 14 is the age of trying to discover yourself, whilst still trying to be apart of the pack, whether you are or not. Foudn good stuff at that age, too, though, I must admit, just them 3 are fairly disgusting to me now.

Preach. When I was 6 I wanted to marry him. No jokes, please. This is a very serious matter.

Michael Jackson is someone I was referring to when I said I was into better music when I was younger than 14. I still don't consider Kriss Kross embarrassing, either. HAHA. But I was listneing to Dylan, The Doors, Sabbath, Zeppelin, etc aswell.

I have a copy of Catherine Wheel's "Chrome" that's too beat up to sell, but that isn't that awful. I have a copy of the Offspring's "Americana" simpy because it's the first CD I bought. Out of stuff I've gotten rid of I'd say my copy of JJ 72's first CD seems the most embarrasing in retrospect due to their being exceptionally shite.
I have a copy of that Virgin Insanity re-issue LP, but I don't exactly see what's embarrasing about it. Wasn't quite what I expected, but it's far from crap. |

Metallica (Ride The Lightning)
Smile Empty Soul White Stripes (Get Behind Me Satan) Evanescence (Anywhere Close To Home) One of the SYR's. It was like 12 bucks and only had 3 songs on it. I was pissed. Shania Twain - Greatest Hits |

I once bought a Mikey Dread double LP and one of the records was actually UB40. I never took it back - don't remember why now. I've got some shocking records in my collection. I mainly put this down to working in a record shop for 3 years. FIVE Suicidal Tendencies LP's (nothing after the first was worth buying) THREE Slayer LP's!!!! THREE New Model Army LP's I could go on. But I won't. One more: The Stone Roses!!!! |

It's a serious matter because you never really got over how the bastard called off the engagement when you turned seven, right? He's such a cad. |

Man, that's a keeper for the cover alone! I hate Abbey Road, too, but there was a time in my life (around 13) that I loved it. I have 3 vinyl copies, in fact. I'll never get rid of them, though, just becuz of sentimental value. And the Stones--while they did put out some flawed albums, and while some of might sound dated, come on, these are classic platters of rockandroll. I have almost 40 Stones Lps, including some famous live boots, and while I hardly play them anymore, aside from Sticky Fingers and Exile, I'm glad they're there on the shelves. |

New Pornographers--Twin Cinema
I bought the hype last year, bought the album, hated it, and still do. It remains in my closet. |

I think they're terrible, and the title of the thread is "Why in the hell did I buy that album?". And I can't think what possessed me to buy THREE LP's by a band I don't like. I think I must have bought all three at the same time. |

I also bought an album by Kreator. The 80's were a difficult decade for me.
