actually i just called dear old grandma (shouldn't it be past her bedtime?) and asked her to knit me a long scarf, a hat with a pom pom on top and ear flaps, and a pair of mittens to match each other because she's good at knitting (no joke, i know that sounds like a cliche grandma thing but she does knit) and i want a nice matching set.

I actually don't mind what I get for christmas. I just really enjoy the whole atmosphere. I know I'll get cool stuff and anything is a plus really, if it's from the heart, and the presents I receive are. So...

headphones... serious headphones like sennheiser, or maybe the ones from grado with the mahogany transducer housings... supposedly adds a little extra warmth to an already awesome sounding headphone.
