i like hollywood and the hippie cartoon that is venice and of course i love the beaches but the thought of having to drive on those shitty-ass-motherfucking freeways makes me ill. mind you, i'm a maniac and i love to drive in new york, but in hellay it's like everyone on the road is a royal fucking dumb cunt. new york drivers are aggressive, but smart. 3-point IQ loss by moving to the west coast, capote said.

true. I also love to roam hollywood and smoke weed in the homeless park across from the magic castle (its is the ONLY green place to smoke greens and it took me a long time to find such a good spot to toke), in fact I went to Aeomeba in the Haight and it was a trip, cuz I road back to my pops house on the BART reading the Music Guide like when I take the rails to Hollyweird for the same purpose... venice is all right occasionally, I always run into some Rastafari i-dren and get a laugh at the people watching, but it remains a parody of itself none-the-less.

no, but don't discount the Thunder, the play excellent TEAM basketball, a lesson the lakers should learn.. for example, why did Kobe show off so much in the last few minutes when they were up by ten already, why not play some team basketball and get your synchronicity on point, or even better give the bench some time to play. Dallas is a great team for that VERY reason, they play team ball like the Jordan era Bulls and the Magic era Lakers.. the Thunder played an EXCELLENT game, they kept the score down with good defense and screened the SHIT out of the lakers, and made great shooting until they choked in the last few minutes of the 4th.. we all know the Lakers are going to sweep the western conference, BUT, they should be careful and play smart, the Thunder and teams like Phoenix and Dallas can play so good and with the ENTIRE Lakers starters having rather serious injuries they could get some fatigue and not even take the Conference, let alone the James-Shaq attack in Cleveland I can't wait for Michael Rose Wednesday, mystics.

I was responding to "arty" things to do, because downtown there's plenty. But if you don't live close, the good stuff is usually a pain-in-the-ass drive and ridiculous parking.

right now I'm in Santa Clarita, but if LA is in fact going to be home for the next year, Burbank is looking promising.
it's closer to downtown, even though downtown really isn't all that far right now. Quote:
